Dabanti Inc (Via Narciso Sordo, Italy) runs Dabanti and is responsible for your data (the “controller”). Contact: [email protected].
Account: name, email, sign-in records (devices, dates) and whether you use an authenticator app. Profile: work history, education, skills, languages, job preferences, your CV and links. Answers you save for application forms, which can include your nationality and right to work. Activity: your applications and Auto Apply runs with their outcome. Technical: IP address and browser details, for security. We never receive your card details: when Pro launches, payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Profile photo, if you add one: only you see it; it isn’t sent to employers or to the AI, nobody analyses faces in it, and hidden details in the file (such as where it was taken) are removed.
To provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract): finding jobs for you, writing cover letters and, when you click Auto Apply, filling in and sending that application. To keep accounts safe and stop abuse (legitimate interest): sign-in checks, rate limits and logs. To meet legal obligations, such as tax records for payments. We don’t sell your data and don’t use it for advertising.
When you click Auto Apply on a job, the details that employer’s form asks for (name, contact details, CV, cover letter and your answers) are sent to that employer’s hiring system, for example Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby, and to no one else. Your nationality and right to work are only ever taken from answers you saved. Dabanti never fills in date of birth, ID numbers, health, ethnicity or similar questions.
Cover letters, CV reading and answers to application questions are produced with an AI provider, Groq, Inc. We send only what the task needs. Sensitive questions and your nationality are never sent to it.
Providers that work for us under contract: our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany); our email provider (Brevo) for sign-in codes and notices; Cloudflare (all traffic to Dabanti passes through it for protection against attacks, and Turnstile checks); Groq (AI); Google and LinkedIn (only if you sign in with them); Lemon Squeezy (payments, once Pro launches). We search job boards such as Adzuna for listings; your data isn’t sent to them.
Some of these providers, for example Groq, Google and Lemon Squeezy, process data in the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Account and profile: while your account is open. Auto Apply history: 90 days. Sign-in sessions: until they expire or you sign out. Backups: deleted data disappears from our backups within 60 days. Admin actions on accounts are logged for security. Payment records: as long as tax law requires, kept by Lemon Squeezy as the seller. You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Your data (at once), or ask at [email protected]; we do it within 30 days. Profile photo: until you remove it or close your account.
You can access, correct, delete and export your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. In Settings → Your data you can download everything we hold about you and delete your account; for anything else, write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL).
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords stored hashed, sign-in codes and authenticator apps, an isolated browser for Auto Apply, access to accounts limited to a few admins who use an authenticator app, and a log of every admin action.
We use only essential cookies: a secure sign-in cookie that page scripts can’t read, and short-lived cookies for two-step verification and Google or LinkedIn sign-in. Your language and theme choices stay in your browser. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups and sign-ins come from a person. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Dabanti is for people aged 16 and over.
We’ll update this page when things change and tell you by email about important changes.
